CLASSIFICATION
A GOLF COURSE SUPERINTENDENTS – An applicant that has, at the time of application, at least three (3) years experience as a golf course superintendent and is employed in such capacity. Annual Dues-$90.00.
B SUPERINTENDENT MEMBERS - An applicant that has, at the time of application, less than three (3) years experience as a golf course superintendent and is employed in such capacity. Annual Dues-$90.00.
C ASSISTANT GOLF COURSE SUPERINTENDENTS - An applicant that is, at the time of application, employed as assistant golf course superintendent. Annual Dues-$60.00.
D AFFILIATE MEMBERS - An applicant that is a business, firm or governmental agent interested in golf course management and/or in the growing or production of fine turfgrass, either individually or through employment by, or other affiliation with a company, proprietorship, or association; and who does not qualify for membership in another class. Annual Dues-$130.00.
E ASSOCIATE MEMBERS - An applicant that is an individual actively involved or employed in golf course management and/or in the commercial growing or production of fine turfgrass. Annual Dues-$60.00.
H HONORARY MEMBERS – This recognition is conferred, by Board approval, to those persons who have rendered exceptional service to this profession. Annual Dues-None.
I INACTIVE MEMBERS – An applicant that is a prior member of this Association who has retired or left the association’s region for other employment opportunities. Inactive Members remain on the Association’s mailing list, receive association information and may attend regular monthly meetings. Annual Dues-$20.00.
P CORPORATE PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM MEMBERS – An applicant that qualifies as an Affiliate Member, which desires to support this Association’s efforts in striving for the betterment of professions in the golf course industry. This membership assists in disseminating information, maintaining participation of superintendents, and providing for scholarships to upcoming professionals in this industry; and includes advertising at events and in certain publications. Annual Dues-$1200.00.
R RETIRED MEMBERS – An applicant that has reached age fifty-five (55) and was a Class A, B, C or D member who is retired and no longer seeking employment in a turf grass field. Applicants must apply in writing to the Board. Annual Dues-$45.00.
The Corporate Partnership Program (CPP) will help to support our continuing efforts in striving for the betterment of our professions in the golf course industry. Funds from this program will assist the Mountain & Valley Golf Course Superintendents Association in dissemination of information, maintaining superintendent’s level of participation and providing a means to award scholarships to upcoming professionals in our industry. The annual fee of $1,200 (which may be split into two $600 monthly installments) includes advertising in all MVGCSA sponsored events and certain publications.

· A sponsorship and tee or green sign at the “Scramble for Research” Golf Tournament.
